A single vendor login gets pasted into chat, lives in a shared note, and nobody rotates it when someone leaves. When the vendor turns on MFA, the shared password breaks, because the new factor is bound to one device.

Encrypted, not pasted
The credential is sealed to each member and only decrypted on their device. The server stores it only as ciphertext.

Can the whole team use one dashboard login without passing the password around?
Yes. Coauth autofills the login or uses a shared passkey, so nobody forwards the password. A team member can still reveal and copy a shared password if they choose.
What if the vendor turns on MFA?
Share the phishing-resistant passkey through Coauth. Each member signs in with the shared factor from their own device, so MFA does not block the team.
How do we cut off access when someone leaves?
Remove them from the team. The key rotates, so they cannot read anything shared from then on. Change the password too, because they could have copied it.
